Flag Day Ceremony

The Patrick Henry and General Joseph Martin Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution will present a Flag Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the MHC Heritage Museum.

The keynote speaker will be Ret. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jay Wilson. Beverly Woody will give the welcome; Anne Copeland will lead the National Anthem; Gayle Wade will lead the Pledge of Allegiance; Cheryl Sutphin will lead The American’s Creed; Janet Fentress will read the flag retirement poem “Though I Fly No More” and introduce the speaker; and Susan Kanode will give the benediction.
