Patriots on the Square by the Martinsville-Henry County Society is a free public Independence Day celebration from 6-9 p.m. Friday, July 4.

Musicians Jake Earle and Da Capo Virginia will perform, and the local chapter of Sons of the American Revolution will perform historical reenactments. Food by Tammy’s Grill and beer by Scuffle Hill Brewing Company will be for sale.

 This is a Virginia 250 event.
